over my camera and took some photos. It near dusk and pouring down hard! It is
amazing how those rain drops bring out the beauty in those plants.
It is too bad that here in southern Idaho, we have probably
seen the last of rain for a while! That is why photos are so great. We need not ever
forget.
Someday I will figure out how to get my pictures where I want them!
The first picture is of wallflowers that come in yellows, oranges, and reds. They are
extremely hardy and will grow just about anywhere! They are some of the first flowers
to bloom in the spring. The second picture is actually seed heads from a Pasque flower!

The first picture below is rose foliage, the second is a Portland transplant called Kerria Japonica, and the last is minature iris. If anyone would like some of the iris, let me know. I have yellow and purple and it spreads like crazy. Also blooms several weeks before regular iris.

Beautiful! Can you ship those iris' down to TX? :) Lovely pictures!
ReplyDeleteI probably could. You can NOT kill these things! My husband has sprayed them with Round Up and they keep right on growin!
ReplyDelete2nd spring flower looks like another bad hair day! John F
