Last fall, I bought a big bag of lilies at Costco that I intended to plant in my yard. The bag sat by the door for months waiting to be planted. It was in December when I took the time to plant the poor dried up bulbs in the ground, not expecting anything at all to come up. This Spring, I saw tiny shoots coming up out of the ground everywhere and now they are blooming! They are gorgeous! Red, coral, white, yellow - all of these beautiful colors! What I would have missed if I had tossed the bag out.
