Changes.........

Sorry old friend! This Silver Maple has provided shade for our house for years. My husband moved with his family into this house 52 years ago and the tree was big then! Through the years various generations have enjoyed swinging from its branches and building tree houses in its crooks. Picnics were spread out on the grass below. The shade was always appreciated in those long, hot Idaho summers. But.........all living things have an end and this trees time had come. Every time the wind blew I was afraid of falling branches and the leaves in the summer were small and a pale, pitiful yellow.
So this Spring down she came. Imagine - what took over 100 years to grow was gone in 6 hours!
